7 Reasons This Cherry Blossom Tree Light Is The Corner Everyone Photographs At Christmas — Long After The Tree Comes Down

The small tree was up. The cards were on the shelf. And the corner next to the sofa still looked bare and grey, the way it does every winter.

I had tried cushions, a new rug, another string of lights. Nothing changed how the room felt.

Almost out of frustration, I ordered this cherry blossom light and set it up in that corner. When I switched it on, I just stood there. The dullest spot in the flat had become the one I couldn’t stop looking at.

It happened with everyone who came over that night. Someone would walk in, see the warm glow in the corner, and stop talking.

Then the phones came out. The plum cake sat untouched while they photographed my room instead.

I’ve answered “where did you get this?” so many times that I keep a ready-made reply saved on my phone.

My favourite part is watching guests walk closer to inspect it.

They genuinely think the blossoms are real. Then they see the light glowing through the delicate blossom details, and their expression changes completely.

Smooth edges, a sturdy build and beautifully crafted branches — it looks like a proper décor piece, not a tangle of bulbs.

Plain string lights get draped over a curtain rod and forgotten. This is a fully sculpted tree with delicate blossom details and glowing branches — a complete décor piece straight out of the box.

Counterfeit versions have started appearing on Amazon and Flipkart, made with poor-quality materials. Desi Store is the only authorised seller of this one, and every unit is tested before it ships.

Everything you need comes in the box, including a USB wall adapter — no batteries, no extra purchases.

I bought it for the look. I didn’t expect it to change how my evenings feel.

The soft, warm glow sets the mood for evenings in. The first date night with it on, my partner walked in and thought I’d redecorated. I hadn’t — I’d just switched off the big overhead light.

Then my kids saw it. Now its calming glow is part of their night-time routine, and the arguments about lights-out have stopped.

I ended up ordering a second one just to get mine back.

I assumed statement lighting meant calling an electrician in the middle of the Christmas rush and paying for work I hadn’t budgeted for.

Not this time. It comes with a USB wall adapter, so I unboxed it, plugged it in and it was glowing within minutes.

It sits happily on a shelf, a desk or in a corner, so I carry it from the bedroom to the living room when friends come over for New Year’s Eve. The LEDs are low-heat and energy-efficient, so on cosy winter evenings I leave it on as a night light.

Desi Store backs it with a 6-month warranty: if any LED fails or there’s a manufacturing defect, they replace the whole unit free.
